Our Mission

This day serves as a beacon for mental health awareness, providing a platform for education, discussions, and the promotion of healthy coping mechanisms, ultimately contributing to the collective effort to enhance global emotional resilience.

Why Harmful Anger?

  • Anger by itself can be a good thing. It can be transformed into an agent for positive change. It can be motivating. It’s ok to feel angry as long as it is not used in a harmful way.
  • Harmful anger is a public health problem.
  • Harmful anger has notable biological, psychological, interpersonal, and community consequences.
  • Harmful anger destroys marriages and friendships. Harmful anger alienates others. Harmful anger leads to violence.
  • Harmful anger is now the number one behavioral health need for children and youth. Harmful anger contributes to domestic violence and physical abuse.

Resources

We are continually in the process of creating valuable resources to share with our community. Our dedicated team is working behind the scenes, putting together informative and engaging materials to benefit all. Stay tuned for updates!
